Excellent video describing all the new features and details of the Multiplayer Mode of Call of Duty Black Ops.

Some of these features include Combat Training, Theater Mode, Currency System, Wager Matches, Customizations, Contracts, and the Emblem Editor.

Wager matches are FOUR different types of game modes that will be available in the new Call of Duty Black Ops game. They are all FFA (Free For All) based. They are different from your standard rank progression in the other multiplayer modes. In the Wager matches, you can take the in-game “currency” that you have, and gamble it against the other players. What you’re gambling on is that you will come in one of the top 3 spots when the match is over.

What this means is, if at the end of the match your final score is in the top 3, you win the losing 3’s money. This is sure to be fun for us gambling types! Check out the video below.

The different types of Wager matches

1) One In The Chamber
Everybody spawns with only 1 Pistol, and only 1 Bullet, and 3 Lives. If you fire and miss, your only option is to Melee attack somebody and take their 1 bullet.

2) Sticks and Stones
Everybody spawns with a Crossbow, Ballistic Knife, and a Tomahawk Throwing Knife. The twist on this mode is, if you toss the Tomahawk and hit somebody, you will Bankrupt them. This mode will teach you to watch your back.

3) Gun Game
The idea for this came straight from the community. This is a game mode with a series of progressive weapons. What that means is, you start off with a pistol, and after every kill you progress to the next stronger weapon, pistol, akimbo pistols, submachine gun, assault rifle, machine gun, and so on. The first person who progresses through all the weapon levels will win the Gun Game match. But you also have to be careful, because if you get knifed, you will get sent back 1 tier.

4) Sharp Shooter
Everybody starts with the same randomly selected weapon. You will use that gun for a fixed amount of time, and then at a random point everybody will get switched out to a different weapon. With each kill you will earn a Perk, and eventually a Scoring Multiplier.

Every game mode has its own little twist that will be really fun to play. But be careful, as with any type of gambling, you could lose it all, or win it all! Its also really satisfying to just take somebodies money!

As promised Activision has announced all the Kill Streaks that will be available in the upcoming Call of Duty Black ops. We’re not entirely sure what all of them do, or even look like just yet, but we have the FULL list here for you.

• 4 Kills – Counter Spy Plane
• 4 Kills – SAM Turret
• 5 Kills – Care Package
• 5 Kills – Napalm Strike
• 6 Kills – Sentry Gun
• 6 Kills – Mortar Team
• 7 Kills – Attack Helicopter
• 7 Kills – Valkyrie Rockets
• 8 Kills – Blackbird
• 8 Kills – “Rolling Thunder”
• 9 Kills – Chopper Gunner
• 11 Kills – Attack Dogs
• 11 Kills – Gunship

Please keep in mind however, that it’s very possible one or two of these could change slightly before the game is released on November 9th, 2010.

This demo takes place in what appears to be some sort of South Asian jungle and the beggining features some tunnel action, which includes the player crawling through a series of tunnels and encountering a few close-quarters battles along the way. Eventually he makes it out of the tunnels and comes upon a camp full of enemy soldiers and heavy guns, equipment, tanks, and a helicopter.

After throwing a few grenades to create some chaos and distraction, the player runs down into the clearing to deal with the remaining enemies, and takes off in the chopper. You and your co-pilot start to take off in the chopper, and you can see how amazing the jungle looks. Unfortunately, you have barely any time to enjoy it as the action starts right away. The chopper is armed with missiles, and a gatling gun on its nose, and it will take both of these to aid in your eventual escape. You will be taking out bridges, anti aircraft guns and positions, enemy choppers, and what looked to be some sort of oil pipeline.

The explosions look really great, and everything seems to be coming along perfectly. Treyarch is doing a great job. This is the first gameplay footage ever released. Sorry for the low quality, but when there is a HD version available, i will upload that here too, so stay tuned!

Activision has just released the very FIRST teaser trailer for Treyarch’s upcoming game Call of Duty Black Ops. As you should know, Treyarch developed a Call of Duty game in the past, World At War. I personally thought that game was amazing. From what I could gather, this trailer has given us many questions we should be asking ourselves. Firstly, why are you sitting in a futuristic room and being interrogated about your past, perhaps the game starts with, or is all just memories of the main character. Below you will find the full analysis of the video.

This is what I could figure out from watching the video a few dozen times ( lol ).

* The main character has probably been through some sort of trauma, and a pretty creepy doctor is wanting remind him of what he has done in his past, or has been through.

* The video goes by so fast it’s hard to figure anything out, but if you slow it down you can piece together a few things such as..

* A specific set of numbers are shown throughout the parts before the flashbacks themselves, 2010:03:2. Not sure what this means yet.

* A few of the scenes show a missile being fired, some pretty dangerous moves, and also a helicopter firing inside a jungle. This most likely means the game will be in Vietnam.

* In my opinion this guy will be the Main character because they showed him a bunch of times in the video, and it is the man who is wearing a bandana – i included his picture below. You can see him falling from a helicopter in the video, and a few others scenes.

* There is a chance the game will have something to do with space because you can see an Astronaut in the video.

* The video is pretty brutal. A lot of blood. A lot of explosions. I believe we can expect more gore than in World at War, or even Modern Warfare 2. Vietnam was a dirty, bloody war.

* At the end of the trailer, who I believe the main character, appears to die. You can hear the heart monitor he is attached to start to flat line.

* May possibly be an appearance of a new Nazi Zombie mode, or something equivalent containing zombies.
